Real People, Real Results

We've been teaching financial negotiation since 2019, and honestly? It started because we were terrible at it ourselves.

How We Actually Started

Back in 2019, I walked into a salary negotiation completely unprepared. I had read every article online, watched YouTube videos, and still managed to accept the first offer without even trying to negotiate. Sound familiar?

That failure led to something unexpected. I started documenting every financial conversation I had – with clients, suppliers, even my landlord. What worked, what didn't, and why. After a year of this obsessive note-taking, patterns emerged.

The breakthrough came when I realized most negotiation advice focuses on tactics, not communication. Real negotiation happens in the spaces between words – the pauses, the tone, the questions you ask when someone says "that's our final offer."

By 2021, friends were asking for help with their own negotiations. By 2023, we had our first corporate client. Now we work with professionals across Australia who want to get better at these conversations without feeling like they're playing games.

What Drives Our Work

These aren't corporate values we pulled from a template. They're the principles that emerged from six years of helping people have better financial conversations.

R

Real Scenarios

We practice with actual situations our participants face. No role-playing as fictional characters or generic case studies.

A

Authentic Communication

Good negotiation feels like a conversation, not a chess match. We focus on clarity and honesty over manipulation tactics.

P

Practical Application

Every technique we teach has been tested in real business situations. If it doesn't work in practice, we don't include it.
